VISCO - Visual Informative Seeker of Collectable Objects

All auto parts managed by CO.MO.ALT. ITALIA are included in a multimedia product, VISCO, c reated to give full support against all issues that are connected to the research of items in the automotive and through which, results are obtained using different search criteria.

It is in fact possible to look for an item using its original codes (OEM) or by the vehicle’s characteristics (model, engine displacement, year of production).

However, the need of a more solid though versatile structure was still felt: VISCO needed to be adapted to any user’s skills and be able to interface with any PC’s OS and any additional applications.

The Team of developers of CO.MO.ALT. ITALIA conceived and created the fifth release of VISCO, aiming to solve some known issues and implementing other new functions that have proven necessary.

NEW FEATURES:

Zooming ability on images

Information printing

Quicker data access, thanks to the implementation of the ODBC manager

Wider scalability, thanks to an easy and intuitive access to databases

More advanced searching methods, especially due to SQL-based structures

Storage of researches and immediate access to frequent codes

A comparison option based on cross referencing, for products research
A Client/Server option and a Multiserver option for a wider reliability

VISCO is avilable in two versions:

VISCO Online, enabling looking for our products directly from the Internet – click here.

VISCO CD-Rom, a platform to install on your office or garage PC.

In both cases, it is possible to perform searches either using the original code that can be found on the component or through the vehicle model in question.

What is VISCO online?
VISCO is CO.MO.ALT. ITALIA’s web catalogue.
What is it for?
Its job is to find the right component for your vehicle
And how does it work?
You can perform the research in two ways:
1) by the OEM code (that is to say the reference code you find on the auto part);
2) by application (or, inserting all the vehicle’s characteristics: model, engine displacement, year of production).
What do I get?
The final result is an internal reference code (COIT) that identifies the auto part you are looking for.
What can I do next?
Once you have got the COIT, you will be able to view its images, request its technical specifications and, of course, order it.
